The Iowa Economic Development Authority plays an important role in disaster response and recovery. From coordinating our response efforts through Volunteer Iowa to standing up recovery funding programs, after the federal government appropriates supplemental disaster funding.
Working with various funding sources, including federal programs, the IEDA makes awards to assist communities from disaster. Long-term monitoring of awards helps ensure communities use funding to make the most impact.
